Lemaitre Demeestere is a French textile company created in 1835; we are the 5th oldest textile company in France
We specialize in 100% linen weaving. We weave fabrics from 90 g to 1.5 kg per m².
Lemaitre Demeestere’s know-how is recognized throughout the world (40% of its revenue come from exports).
The fabrics are used for furnishings, decoration, interior design, accessories and for the last two years in RTW and sewing. The range also includes fabrics with linen/silk, linen/alpaca and linen/cashmere blends, all of which are perfectly suited to premium brands.

The company is a member of the NATUP group, which is particularly committed to local production and traceability, and has a low carbon footprint.
By 2022, the group will have its own spinning plant (wet yarn) in France and will cover the entire supply chain, from flax seeds to linen fabric, which is a first in the sector.
